Assembly Interruptions
Hold components or subassemblies while an assembly process is paused.

CSC | HEPA-Filtered Clean Staging Chamber
The CSC is a compact benchtop chamber designed to help protect cleaned components, tools, samples, trays, fixtures, and work-in-process during breaks, inspections, shift changes, and process delays.
Development status: The CSC is currently in prototype and pilot development. Final airflow, particle-cleanliness, noise, loading, and recovery specifications will be published only after completed product testing.
Between-process protection
Contamination-sensitive work does not always move directly from one operation to the next. Components may wait for inspection, packaging, another operator, available equipment, or the next production shift.
During these interruptions, work may be repeatedly bagged, covered, moved to remote storage, or left exposed near the process.
The CSC is designed to provide a dedicated staging location at the point of use.
Common applications
Hold components or subassemblies while an assembly process is paused.
Stage parts awaiting dimensional, visual, or quality inspection.
Keep work in a designated location when operators leave the process.
Store cleaned tools, fixtures, trays, and handling equipment near the workstation.
Hold completed work before final packaging or transfer.
Stage nonhazardous samples, tools, and equipment between procedures.
How air moves through the CSC
The current prototype airflow design draws room air through the top prefilter. A blower moves air into the supply plenum and through the HEPA filter, delivering filtered downward airflow into the staging zone.
Return air enters lower side openings, travels through isolated side return passages, and exhausts through the rear perforated section.
The final plenum, diffuser, chamber pressure, filter configuration, airflow performance, and recovery performance remain subject to prototype testing.
Access and staging
The front access door provides direct access to the filtered staging area for loading components, trays, tools, samples, and work-in-process.
The open-door prototype view shows the internal work zone and the clear viewing area used to keep staged items visible.
Standard configuration
Dimensions shown as W × D × H.
Nominal face velocity and final production performance remain subject to prototype verification.
Configuration options
Options are application-dependent. Final configuration is established during quoting and engineering review.
Workflow benefits
Keep staged work near the operator instead of moving it to another room or cabinet.
Reduce unnecessary transfers, repeated covering, and repeated bagging between operations.
Create a dedicated staging location without assigning a full-size clean bench solely to temporary storage.
Clear access panels allow operators to see staged items without opening an opaque bin or cabinet.
Use the chamber on a suitable existing surface or pair it with an EIS Clean Environment Table.
Support trays, components, tools, fixtures, and samples using removable rack or shelf configurations.
Depending on the application, the CSC may serve as a HEPA-filtered storage cabinet, clean staging cabinet, benchtop clean enclosure, or component staging chamber for clean WIP storage and filtered storage for sensitive components. It is designed for point-of-use clean storage—not temperature or humidity testing.
Potential applications
The CSC is designed for appropriate contamination-sensitive staging. Potential applications may support:
Flexible installation
Install the chamber on a suitable existing workbench, table, laboratory bench, inspection station, assembly station, cart, or other work surface. An EIS table is not required.
Pair the CSC with an EIS stainless steel table when you also need a dedicated work surface. The combination is a purchasing option, not a separate product.
See supporting tables →An ESD-focused configuration is planned for electronics and microelectronics workflows. Tell us about your grounding, surface-resistance, material, and component-handling requirements when requesting a quote.
Use limitations
The CSC is being developed for contamination-sensitive, nonhazardous components, tools, samples, fixtures, and work-in-process.
It is not a fume hood, biosafety cabinet, glovebox, hazardous-material enclosure, or operator-protection device.
CSC FAQ
No. Prototype performance testing is in progress. Eden Industrial Systems will publish only cleanliness, airflow, and recovery claims supported by completed testing.
No. The CSC is intended for nonhazardous clean staging. It is not designed to contain hazardous vapors, biological agents, infectious materials, or processes requiring operator protection.
The CSC is being developed as a standalone benchtop product and with an optional EIS stainless steel table. The supporting surface must meet the published size, load, stability, and service-clearance requirements.
Potential applications include components, trays, tools, fixtures, samples, and work-in-process that fit within the final published size and loading limits.
An ESD-focused configuration is planned. Customers should include their grounding, surface-resistance, material, and component-handling requirements in the quote request.
Final filter-access procedures, replacement intervals, and maintenance instructions will be included in the product documentation after the prototype configuration is tested.
Pilot applications
Eden Industrial Systems is evaluating pilot applications with manufacturers and laboratories that regularly stage contamination-sensitive work between operations.
